Did manage to get a Ride in though....until I couldn't feel my left hand anymore. Dang amputations take 4ever to warm back up! Definitely know what you mean there Bob.... I think it boils down to some wacked out nerve endings. Always drives me crazy when I feel my fingers & wrist inside my prosthetic arm....wrist twisting the throttle & fingers grabbing the brake....all from muscle memory. Obviously the lack of a radio/CD does not impact me, my wife likes her music on when we travel. I read (maybe mistakenly) that putting the radio in the freezer for a day or so may bring the screen back to life..................or maybe not. Looked at as much as I can under the front near side( wife says that's where the noise is coming from) of the car, cannot see anything amiss, but what do I know. Basted thing was covered in oil and sure enough the starter repair shop agreed. Once I got it started I could see the oil pissing out of the oil filter top cover. Wanker hasn't had a service for that long the O ring had gone hard. Got called out to replace an alternator to a Fiat Punto. I took it on as it's an old boss and he was a good man.
