A couple we knew (around 2005) had a couple of Dobermans, one was soft as shit, the other 🤔 was a bit more like the preconceived idea of a Doberman.

One day it jumped over a fence and bit a guy walking by, well more of a nip from the mark on the guys leg, but the police got involved.

The friends said they could not take the dog to be put down, they treated it like a kid, so they asked me to do the dirty deed.

Took her into the vets, and 5 mins later they handed me a muzzle,  collar and lead, never felt such a shit in my life before that event.

We have had a 2 dogs in the distant past, but never had to take one to be put down, the last 2 dogs passed away in their sleep.

Hope your dog @Pedro has some more time with you.

perhaps the guy walking past owned a Harley and he deserved the bite.

After our Cairn terrier shuffled off we said no more dogs for us, we did have a cat while our daughter lived with us, but it was her cat not ours, one day it disappeared, it never did return, I expect it got flattened by a car, but there is a Chinky takeaway near to us. 😂

Anyway, it's a very nice day here, blue sky and very mild, so I will do battle with the leaves and then give the lawns a final cut, so bloody exciting it is. 😔

Been playing with a 1971 Kawasaki f7 again this morn. Gonna need a lot of work but I can't get a spark out of it. Be nice to hear it run before we strip out the engine as I can hear a main bearing growling away.

Chilli ride home from work this morning, just above zero when I left but I had the right gear so warm enough.    Stunning ride across the moor this morning.  Light traffic and I passed all there was.   I’m getting very attached to this CBF especially now I have the bigger touring screen with its protection.   Just a good bike, not the best at anything.  Handles well, is fast enough and frugal enough.   Good lights, doesn’t look too knackered and easy to fix.    It’s not worth much so I happy putting the miles on it, definitely hits a sweet spot in my troubled mind.  🤣.

Also got to add the Oxford heated grips are the dogs Bollix .   They work really well and are much better than the ones on my Hornet.
I am normally always looking for the next bike but I think the CBF is going to break me of that habit.

Bloody hospital is in uproar as we have the roofers in.

That was unlucky, CDIs are normally pretty bullet proof.
Had a bit of a breakthrough, F7 exciter and signal coils well out of spec, so off for a rewind they will go. Fingers crossed for the CDI unit as it's not very testable.
Still can't get those basted jampots to bits though. I'm thinking of filling a suitable tub with diesel and lobbing it in for a month.

We've had roofers in our local Morrisons. Never before has the shop floor seen so much water since they arrived, they even had to shut the shop for 4 days as they couldn't keep the water out.:classic_laugh:

Exactly the same for us mate the day after the roofers started the ceiling came down in our office and two terminals (pc’s) were ruined.    Luckily it was a day I wasn’t working.   😳

It's for the tractor num nuts....blower is mounted to the rear...so I'm backing up 90% of the time..so basically your twisting yourself in a pretzel to keep and eye on what your doing ...a specially when getting close to parked cars ...
