First Weekend in February!

XTreme

Rode home from work with one less layer on and in flimsy motocross gloves with no heated grips on. It's like summer today, in February.

Whilst at work I couldn't be bothered to put gloves on at all between sites.

A nice man in the I.T. department loaded my sign design software for me, well I did it, he just put his password in at the critical moment because I'm not allowed any more. Test below.

Pete would be one of the first LOL its snow that would bugger us up here we just don't have the equipment to deal with it and nobody knows how to drive in it or when not to drive in it, Its all steep hills here. Last time we had any significant snow fall here i had a 4x4 and was coming down the steep hill to my house which was covered in snow i was in low range coming down on the engine about 10mph when another 4x4 overtook me doing about 40mph. i stopped waiting for the crash but he was lucky no one was coming up so he got away with it the hairs on the back of my neck still stand up when i think about the dopey twat
This is where he overtook and the right hand side was full of parked cars from the houses down making it single file, the hill is a lot steeper than it looks in the picture

Food shop and got the multi band gig on again tonight.
After dealing with a hangover, Mandis taking me to the pictures to watch the new Avatar film. Then round No 2 sons to see the grandkids and have a Sunday roast stuck in front of us.

Weathers not to bad here being dry and close to double figures but no time for bikes this weekend.

Didn't get much done on the XR last night changed all the seals which was a two minute job put the clutch plates in oil to soak and painted a bit of the frame that was rusty and can only be accessed when this cover is off or the engine is out so i suppose i better get on with it this morning.

Wern't the early ones a bit of a pain when they got hot or went over on their side ?  I know the early DR350's could be a bitch to kick sometimes but mine was always ok with the decompressor lever.

Not sure about the early ones but the one i got can be like that but only if you don't know the correct start procedure after a fall, no problem if you do. Most of the problems i read about are poor carb set up or the owners not knowing their own bike, there's a knack to it not everyone gets.
