Sofia
Yes, Portugal and England have been allies longer then anyone, since 1386 when in Windsor the treaty was signed. It's been proven again today when a Sikh gentleman came in to the practice to give me a flyer for his Kebab shop!! UK-PT always hand in hand as Atlantic powers and Far East connections!! We can now go to the kebab after a binge, we live the dream!!! PS that EU flag soon to be replaced by a union jack...

Slowlycatchymonkey
I’m all for fusion foods and it’s lovely when different countries embrace each others cuisine rather than getting hung up on authenticity and PDO’s which stifle innovation and the movement of foods which would otherwise remain landlocked. If it’s good, it’s good. But I will confess that flyer looks like the jack of all and master of none

The Auld Alliance between Scotland and France was signed in 1295... but apart from that, I like a good kebab from time to time
