I only looked at the last few posts on this thread today and I knew I shouldnt have, Warning - I grew up with music bitches.

Music Bitch the fast review -

Roys Clarks Mesmerising Day

The man makes up for his weak left hand with the speed of his wanking hand and some showmanship… NOOOOOO

Cake - Burning a Religion.

What a surprise, very good. Insightful jaded poetic swaging lyrics by people who could easily (and probably do) play other genres, their skills show. Best not eat their cake though.

Tom Jones and Seasick Steve

Dont want to like it but.. Seasick Steves old school good and Tom Jones regardless of his terrible reputation of a small pricked tightwad who drops his ‘friends’ like hot bricks still cannot be denied his good voice. Still wouldnt buy his stuff on principle.

Love affair -  Everlasting Love  is “One of the best basslines ever”  Not in this lifetime 😆

Good basslines, try -

Bill Withers Lovely Day

Nancy Sinatra These boots are made for Walking

Red Hot Chilli Peppers Give it away now

Lou Reed Walk On the Wild Side

Queen Under Pressure (Dont like Queen but cant deny the quality bass).

Rage against the Machine - Bullet in the Head or Take the Power Back

Now they are good basslines.

Choosing Rage against the Machine Take the Power Back as the bass winner cos even if its not your thing you can’t deny the bass players taste.

Don’t worry I’ll go back to staying away from this thread 😁
