Well that's me out of the van game (for now).  It got as far as Manchester and went into limp mode again , even with a brand new turbo fitted.

Awkward Bye Bye GIF

Turbos are a piece of shit...like the book says...there's no replacement for displacement...take it from and expert...

Turbos are the simplest thing in the world, it is when they are controlled electronically that you have issues, if it is a turbo diesel then it will be an issue with the fuel air mixture control.

I rest my case.

Turbo have been around for a long time...I guess they found one in a cave covered with calcite deposits...it was dated to 8 thousand years ago...lol.

From what I've seen over the years ..I don't see any more advantage of running Turbos on small displacement gas engines...Diesel yes...I've watch Ford and other manufacturers go for this a specially in there line of of half ton trucks...2.5 l and the 3.5 l engines fitted with twin turbos...I'll tell you my 6.2l natural aspirated engine does better on millage than any of the two....not to mention the cost of repairs if anything breaks on them....I see it for exotic cars and race engines..

That's about it...

Inlitent me then...subject is half ton pickup trucks....just imagine hooking up a camp trailler to one of them...one is 2.5 l Ford twin turbo and the other is a 6.2l v8 ...at highway speed...don't you think the 2.5 powerd engine will be constantly on the boost...equals to more air more fuel...not to mention it has absolutely no torque what so ever....torque is what moves heavy objects by the way...

The only reason the big north American trucks manufacturers are leaning this is to cut cost by sticking mazda miatas engines in truck...they out source crap Turbos for who knows who...they are so poorly designed that half of the time the cab has to be removed in order to replace or do any work on them...Ford's are the worse by the way...frigen garbage...

You can try...lol...you know what crazy.?  In a world full of people there's only one that can fly...

We were talking about the other day about folding space time...you know we cannot travel forward right ?  Why ? Cause the future isn't created yet...but backward travel is certainly possible...here some food for though...when you close your eyes and think back of passed events in your life...what do you actually see..?  Does it seem real to you ? ..what your actually doing in your mind is folding time...and that's with your mear 7% of your total brain output...lol.
