I’m trying to do three weeks worth of work in one week so I can leave the UKs sunny pleasant weather to catch a plane on a bank holiday weekend that’s predicted to be the busiest since 2019 in order to get to Spain where there’s thunder, lightning, torrential rain and lower temps. That’ll be a fun ride through the mountains Or will it? It could be another ‘we haven’t bothered to charge the battery’ debacle at airport parking and another walk to an expensive hotel to sleep in the clothes I travelled in before a nice rainy ride the next day. She was in last week expecting the normal treatment, IV steroids, that sorts out her "flair up", but for whatever reason they didn't do that. Instead she got some IV paracetamol and fluids and sent her home. Back in yesterday and got said norm and she's bouncing back big time. busabeast Posted May 26, 2023 Share Posted May 26, 2023 Because last weekend saw my mate not getting his bike tomorrow it is, everything is in place though I gave the bike shop a call today to play a small prank on him, by which we will be going there they will be hiding the bike and telling my mate that the new owner had already arrived and picked it up and gone just before we turned up so I guess I'll have to "get lost" on the way though really they are just hiding it for a short while till he starts to cry. Singing on Sunday so will get the Mrs to drive me and I can hobble around for that but overnight driving shifts aren’t on the cards.
