You do know you can set a temperature and it will keep the room at that temperature by switching on and off when needed. The fan will probably run all the time and the cooling part will switch on and off.

That’s a bit technical for him, any chance you could come with a more straightforward explanation? 🤣

Yes.....I know about the fan setting.

But the floor fan is directed towards me, the PC and the monitor so it moves the hot air away from where I'm sitting.

Shouldn't you be golfing?

Not on a Monday, weekday golf is for poofs and amateurs. Only us professionals can play at the weekend.

Normally all of that is adjustable. You should have a swing setting (oo er misses) and be able to set it straight ahead, that should fix things, assuming they are near the ceiling and the price tag didn't effect the fitting 😂

Plus the fan strength is adjustable which takes the icey edge off things.

Generally I've found having the aircon close the actual temp you're already acclimatised to the perfect balance. Before I left I found 26 degrees a bit chilly 😆

Ours in our bedroom is set for 24C and the ceiling fan directs it down onto the bed, so it gets a bit chilly after a while. I switch it off then and the ceiling fan keeps recirculating the cool air, so it stays at a comfortable temperature overnight. 😉

Too bloody hot in the UK, not too bloody hot when you're acclimatised!

Your not in either country long enough to acclimatise to either temp though so how do you cope

🤣

There's some sort of memory for cooling mechanisms cos I don't find it bad at all now.

Up to 32 degrees is generally ok out of the sunshine. Over 35 degrees I'm not happy!

Plus the air is different.

July I came back to Blightys MUCH lower temps and yet felt much hotter than I did in Spain, yes humidity and wind speed have a strong influence but its a weird brew of factors the body seems to remember how to deal with.

Me to, we are having a problem with the woman in our office in work at the moment, she's complaining it's too cold in her room, when she went off on one this morning i had a look at the thermometer it was 22c in her room and shes sat there all day with a fucking coat on, she used to have a fan heater on but the boss took it away as it was costing a fortune, she would leave it on all night so it would be warm in the mornings and that was when we were having 25c + temperatures the woman's a fucking lizard and before anyone says it she past through that years ago
