Going to watch our mechanic racing at Castle Combe tomorrow, I would go and watch my boss but he's racing at Donnington and that's a bit far for a day ride.

Judging by the forecast I may be dodging showers in the morning.

The weather forecast is crap so probably just wrapping up the things I've been collecting for the boys as house warming gifts. Got them a coffee table recently (they will love) from gumtree for £40. Very happy with it but one of the legs is in the wrong position and it tips too easily so I'll move it. Then Im gonna build a concealed stand for that insane replica divers helmet I bought at auction a while ago so it sits straight rather than rolling over to one side.

It's the Himalayans MOT Monday and the Bandit Tuesday so I need to give them a glance over to make sure it's not going to fail for anything obvious. The Clevedon boys are so nice one of them said they live near me and will pick up the bike on their way to work if I liked, or drop it off and take his bike n ride home. That's lovely isn't it!

We'll be attending the annual family barbecue today. Collect the daughter who made her way from Southampton, through London to Epping. Made it a much easier task. It's also the weekend of the Clifftop Gala on the seafront so we'll get to that at some point too.

Just spent Thursday and Friday night trying to work out how fit a new head unit in the marmite wagon and finished it off today after the original one went tits up a few weeks ago, fucking thing was only 20 years old as well. Got everything working except the steering wheel controls, i'm still looking into that, there is no information on how to connect it up anywhere all i can work out is i need an interface module, but not willing to buy one until i'm sure its what i need. A day of rest tomorrow i think.

Anything on youtube that might help you out ?

I found a couple of useful vids on there when I replaced the shite chinese double-din in my Cube for a Pioneer head unit.  It took four goes but I got everything working in the end including the reverse camera and hands free microphone for phone calls.
