Only about 60 miles but I chose to go down the coast via Falmouth, Helston and then Penzance. Still packed out down here. Newly Wed and nearly Dead season now the Kids are back to school. Got the full bondage gear on my bike, well panniers and shoes at least. After Lamorna I traveled back through St Buryan to St Just. Where I happened on a rally of classic bikes. Knocked down and two large boxy wood covered monstrosities built on the plot. Both sold for 1.2 million each within days. Nice comfy 3 bd places but nothing outside apart from some parking and a small green patch. In Fowey, where I live, ex local authority houses are fetching £300,000. Sounds all well and good, my place is paid for, but my kids have very little chance of making a life here. Rents running £1000 to £1600 a month. I can see the town becoming a giant Air B&B in the next 10 years. That comment is only slightly tongue in cheek, working class life in Britain is pretty difficult nowadays.
