Christmas Plans?

How are you guys planning on spending your Christmas?

We've got flights back to the UK on Christmas eve,  to spend Christmas day and boxing day with my mum and my family. Then we're heading up to Cambridgeshire for another couple of days to meet up with Mandy's kids and maybe spend another day with my boys, before heading back on New year's eve. That's the plan anyway!

No grandkids this year.......not that we saw much of them last year because of Fatty.

And we can't drive up to Madrid to see them because it's too far in the car for the wife with her back issues.

So it's just us making the best of it really.

She'd not long had the major painkilling injection......it's worn off now.

But apart from that we're in no rush to see that Munter!

we wanted to visit my parents for Christmas, Mum's 92 now and Alzheimers is getting steadily worse, but there is just no way we can afford accomodation in the area for 5 of us at that time of year (last year at nearly 2000€ for 5 days nearly killed us) so we're not doing anything for Christmas but are saving for a uk visit in feb when we can have the same accomodation for five days for just over 800€...
