The show was okay but there wasn't really much I hadn't seen before other that the Ducati I sat on. I managed to get a couple of can of ACF 50 for the next couple of winters. Some of the "special" show prices looked like normal price plus 20%. I took a few pictures though.

Great pics!

That's the rebuilt Slippery Sam though......the original was destroyed in a fire at the National Motorcycle Museum about 20 years ago.

I visited the place in 1987.......they had some great stuff there.

RE5......what a disaster of a bike!

I knew a guy who got killed on one.....not sure how he managed it cos those things were so fucking slow!

Probably...don't imagine they would ship  and authentic one across the pond just for a bike show...looks real thoe...all except the front forks...unless it was tigh down to the floor...they have longer travel on the real one...

It’s because the back wheel is lifted off the deck.

It does say “Slippery Sam Tribute” on the notice.
