I asked because they can be a bit like marmite, some who have been on multi cylinder bikes all their life just don't get on with them. I followed the guy i bought my 650 off on a bike forum for a while and all he done was ask questions about fixing it and he had spent a hell of a lot trying to fix it, when i got it all i could find that would cause what he was whining about was a knackered chain. It was his first single after years on a fireblade and didn't realise they are lumpy and juddered when in too high a gear with low revs was normal, i had a good idea the problem was in his head when i went to buy it he didn't know i was following his whining LOL

couple of bits, rear light and silencers changed , which i would of wanted to do , gpr exhausts on it are not far off £700 to buy

The single cylinder gives a lot of engine braking and the back wheel unloads quickly under braking, personally on the road I never used to use the rear brake on my big singles.

yeh, i never think how im braking , must be habit of touching rear first . dont think the tyre helps
