That's up to your usual level of bullshit, anything over two grand they ask for notice, I needed £8k in cash once so gave them 24 hours notice and it was no issue. Smaller branches don't keep a lot of cash. With notice you can draw out upto £500,000.00 at a time.

If if the daily limit is £2000 why didn't the manager explain that to him rather than ordering him off the premises, also maybe they are not a bank per se but they are a financial institution which is much the same thing.
