Earache
Walked around Ogden today - cool little town. Next door to the hotel is Perry's Egyptian Theater, Nice art deco looking front and even an old school ticket booth....
Earache
The hotel was an old bank years ago and still has the marble walls, floors and art deco stainless steel elevators...
Earache
Architecture is nicer on these older, (old by USA standards) buildings in town ...
Earache
Better shot of the local Mormon Temple. These guys are weird as shit. Polite and well mannered, but weird....
Earache
The painted horse thing is kinda overdone here. No idea why they're here...

Earache
Dropped into a "Mexican" place for dinner. All white people working- not one Mexican. Not a good sign when you want Mexican food. Bartender needs to work on her pour, but the beers were cold and the burrito was kinda bland - as expected in a white Mexican place.....

I remember that we had a similar thing happening in Lisbon a few years ago, but instead of horses they were cows.
JustaPor
I've looked it up and what I thought was a few years, was actually 18 years ago!! Time really flies! It was the "Cow Parade". 100 painted cows were scattered around in Lisbon! Some pics here : https://pbase.com/diasdosreis/cowparade_lisboa&page=all
