Utah and mt conversion to Mormonism

It'd be fun to camp out here and hike to some of the formations on the horizon and beyond. But even though it was cloudy, it was still over 100F / 38C. Won't be hiking far wearing bike gear in that kind of heat...

Back into Moab for the night and I wandered the streets looking for some place to eat. This place was selected due to the mural on the front.

Didn't really want Mexican again, but this place was close to the hotel and was open. Beef burrito this time and a few more Negras. They had a cheese dip that left a lot to be desired and the burrito was kinda lame as well.

But the beers were super frosty and I was more interested in them after a hot day on the bike....

Very cool canyons and views, Eric. Everything is better and more enjoyable when not in extreme heat.

I'll still take the heat over cold riding, but you're absolutely right.

Every time I see pictures of Utah it reminds me of Salisbury Crags in Edinburgh.

I've never been - have any pics?  Quick google search didn't show a lot

Oh I see the similarities now - we have stupid cunts climbing all over our rocks as well.

There are views of it from some parts of the city during sunset that look like it could be Utah in the distance, I will try to find a pic.

Does not quite capture the image I am thinking of but this is pretty good.

Yes - the Sun hitting the redness of the sandstone. Almost makes it glow.
