Purchased a relay, it is bigger than the one fitted, and the connector is different, which I expected it would be, going to need a bit of bodging to make it work, should be fun.

Or you could just use a multimeter and do it once.

Not got such a thing, I used my power testing lead, but I get 2 cables with 12v, as soon as connect one of the other (non power) leads the fuse blows, connect the other lead, fuse blows.

Getting to the emergency seat release cable is a pain.

Most relays have a connection diagram on them.

There is on the replacement one i bought, the factory fitted one is smaller, and the connector block is different, and it has no numbers on the plastic body to indicate which connector does what.

If you have four leads then two will be twelve volts, one will be an earth and the the last is the switched feed, one of the twelve volt cables should be switched so not always live unless there is a switched earth.

The relay is for the seat release, for a Daelim S3 250cc....I expect the 125cc version is the same, identical scoot, but a 125cc.

On the factory fitted one there is no identification numbers, or anything saying what rating it is.

What colour are the four wires

Tell you later, have to strip off the bodywork to get to the relays.... but don't you go to any bother. 👍

Yep., but as soon as I connected either of the other wires the fuse blew.

Can you see what colour wires go to the seat actuator or whatever releases the seat

I would have to remove the seat tub, because the solenoid is hiding under there, let you know later. 👍 Thanks for the help.

Just a thought Clive are any of the other relays the same as the seat one. if yes you could swap them to try. the problem might be the solenoid not the relay

I did swap one of the relays, and yes the solenoid works, but it does not say on any of the relays as to what they are rated at. ....

1 is for the for the seat...another for the FI, the others are lights, starter and cooling fan and hazard lights.... apart from the starter relay they all look identical.

These are the wire colours to the solenoid.

If that's Orange with a blue stripe looks sort of grey in the photo then i would wire the relay like this. I'm presuming the button you press to unlock the seat grounds the coil of the relay not power it up that's why there are two wires with 12v on them i think
