boboneleg
I had a chance to get out on the WR250 today and I was keen to see what the front suspension was like now. I didn't get away until 11.00 am so I decided to do the local lanes starting at Keynsham. The first lane is always a good test as you ride uphill over baby-head size rocks ............. First test passed and on we go to some more lanes nearby .............. On Featherbed lane I noticed some new signposts, I'm pretty sure peeps have been trying to cut through here by following their sat navs to avoid queues on the A37,,,,,,,,,

boboneleg
You really don't want to carry on down that lane through this in your Ford Fiesta............. A few more lanes were done in lovely weather if a bit breezy ............. When I got to Ubley Drove there were a couple of guys on CRF Rally's who were sawing a tree that was blocking the lane ............. I rode on up to the top and then came back down again to get to Harptree where a stopped for a pint ...............

boboneleg
A few more lane were done on the way back, I only covered 67 miles but probably 20 lanes and tracks were done on this route. Best of all the front suspension is working just fine now with the new fork leg and 10w oil instead of the original 5w.
Pedro
When you say 20 lanes, what distance do you think you went off tarmac? Some of those look really nice! Do you face many people or are you able to open it up a little on the faster bits?

So probably only a quarter of the route consisted of off road (lanes) 13 minutes ago, Pedro said: Some of those look really nice! Yes there is a chance to open it up on the straight bits where you have good vision but you always have to be mindful of horse riders , walkers etc.
