Fuck me Tis blowing here.  Wheelie bins up and down the roads like Daleks 🤣

We had one a month or so ago, bin went walkabout and was nowhere to be found in the morning. Returned by itself in the afternoon :classic_laugh:

We had a bout of that about a week & a half ago...the same storm that put over 600,000 residents w/o power up in Seattle...& created those King tides along the coast. So glad I live on the east side of OR now. No issues with my wheelie bin as it's parked in the carport against my boat.

All the phones in the car last night were blurting out the gov severe weather warning.   We reckon it was because we were moving between phone towers it triggered the warning again.  Dunno if that is right but it made sense to us. 😀

Just had a 15 minute power cut i blame these electric car owners panic buying electricity because of the storm and overloading the system, which prompted me to dig out my little generator which obviously wouldn't start, not surprised as its probably been 6 years since it last run. The carb was all gummed up so cleaned it all out and its running now but this time i drained the carb before putting it away. We've had the wood burner lit all day so good for heating and hot water for a cuppa as we keep a kettle of water on there when its lit.

Does it run on gasoline?

You can always drain a bike tank when you need it.

I cleared the leaves in the garden and collected all the bits of branches and other crap after the last storm last weekend. Now the place looks like the aftermath of a small war again.

we are currently in the process of house training a puppy, poor thing almost gets blown into next doors yard everytime he goes out for a wee.

I’ve had the same thought with a couple of solar panels and batteries I have, if I ever get them wired up.
