Switched 12v Break Out box

As more electrical accessories become part of every day biking we are going to have to make provision for them if our bikes are not compliant .    I currently have heated grips and a USB charging socket in my bike that was wired directly to the battery.   In theory they should cause no problem as the Oxford Grips have a smart controller that will automatically turn off after 15 mins if no charging is detected.  Also the USB sockets will draw no power unless being used.  The problem is that I don’t trust them.    I want everything to cease once the key is off.   
So with this being the case I bought a branded Lightening Box.   Which takes power directly from the battery with a trigger lead to be attached to a switched live circuit.  So if the ignition is on the Lightening box is, if off the same.  
There are several similar products to achieve this.    Thunder Box (approx £85) Lightning Box (approx £50) Oxford Box (approx £25).   I bought the Lightening Box but wish I had gone with the Oxford one as it looks identical.   I expect they are all sourced from China and that there are many other options than those I listed.  
Here is the Lightening box in site on my Honda CBF600 which doesn’t have a great deal of space to fit such things.  I took the trigger from the main fuse box on the instrument circuit.   You can see the red wire in the picture.

Easy enough project but I thought I would put it on here if anyone wanted to do the same.   Of course you set up your own relay feed triggered in the same way but to do it in a tidy way for 4 circuits would be a challenge and I couldn’t be bothered on my bike with its limited space.   If there wasn’t a bleddy great ABS pump under the seat I may have done.

The most common complaint for a parasitic drawal .  Nice work @Saul  👍

That's good to know about the parasitic draw, I was told they didn't use anything unless charging something but I didn't trust the feckers 🤣   May get an Eastern Beaver for my Hornet, love that name 😎

Why don’t you just use the switched feeds provided in the wiring loom for powered accessories?

That's how I used to do my electrics but a fuse box arrangement makes it so much neater

I couldn't find any on the wiring diagram.

My bike has at least eight different ones, five in the fairing and three under the seat, three of which are independently switched as well as only being live with the ignition.

By the time you finish buying accessories to bring yours up to standard you probably could.
