Nute
When I bought my MT09 eighteen months ago the insurance cost was around £850. I did discuss putting it on a multi bike policy with my Indian when it renewed last year but they made it so complicated and turned out just as expensive and I didn’t bother. They recently emailed me with the renewal cost for the Indian and then 10 mins later with a quote on the Yamaha, which isn’t due until Sept. I called them to ask why the second quote and after some prevarication they came back to admit they had dropped a bollock and we’re about to renew both on a multi bike and cancel the existing Yamaha policy without my instructions and if I hadn’t called it would have just gone through automatically. They then offered to go with the multi bike for both, total cost just over £240 fully comp. The Indian alone was £450 last year. I didn’t question anything, just paid there and then. Confirmation arrived by email 15 mins later which a carefully checked for errors, all ok, yay!
Sir Fallsalot
Who was that with Nute, i have 4 bikes on a multi bike policy cost less than £400 but cant remember who i took it out with, i got the Beta on a separate policy and that's the only one i can find, that's the trouble with doing it all on line i will have to wait until the renewals come in to find out who it was with LOL.

Went through one of the comparison sites originally, can’t recall which one but the policy is with Principal Insurance. Not a company I’d come across before but then there are loads I’ve never heard of on the comparison sites. just checked my emails and their number is 03300241358. That’s the renewals dept but I’m sure they could help.

I keep the important emails in a separate folder, and then can't find the folder.

Buckster Posted Sunday at 23:03 Share Posted Sunday at 23:03 £130 for the Harley, £240 for two bikes seems about right. Would be more for @boboneleg but that’s because he lives on a council estate.
Nute Posted Monday at 10:33 Author Share Posted Monday at 10:33 I have a few points on my licence so 240 for both is a miracle.

Clive Posted Monday at 12:17 Share Posted Monday at 12:17 It is the car insurance that I am dreading, last year it was £450 for a poxy, old, 1150cc Dacia, At the moment I have no plans to renew the scoots insurance. And they are both due for renewal on almost the same day in March.

It does curb my xmas spending.
