Saul Posted Sunday at 19:01 Share Posted Sunday at 19:01 I went for a Bimble down to Blackwater then on to Perranporth with 4 of my mates this morning. Shadow wanted to come and had a bit of a strop as I told her she couldn't take her bike, she did mellow and came pillion with me in the but she wasn't happy. She did improve after a couple of hot chocolates

I want to take her out on a few rides just the two of us before going out in a larger group. I don't want her to have pier pressure to go faster than she is comfortable with.

Is the little 125 too slow or is it just her confidence?

Her 125's sweet spot is 40 to 60 mph which would be ok but it loses out big time in acceleration. I am happy to make allowances but I can't expect the group to compromise their day out to accommodate my gate crashing daughter. I am confident they would but it would get old.

I remember many years ago we had a club run and one of the lads turned up on his RG125 and i had it in my head we were going to be waiting for him all day, was i in for a surprise the only fuckers we were waiting for were on what should have been much faster bikes than his RG i clocked him at 100mph a couple of times and when we got on the tighter twisty roads it was hard to keep up with him
Catteeclan
I was heading back from Beccles a couple of years ago and a bunch of 125s with L plates caught me up in traffic. I managed to loose them when I could use the bikes power but they were soon buzzing all over the place. I moved to the side of the road and let them go.
