I was just watching this and thought it might be a good thread idea or maybe not.
Classic rally cars on some of my favorite biking roads with little to no room for errors. Imagine watching this with the volume up and the cars are EV's 👎

On-Board w/ Doug Henry racing a 'Lectric 'Crosser....& winning on it.😎 Pretty impressive knowing that his paralyzed legs & feet are strapped to the pegs :classic_huh:...so his cornering speeds are down from the others...but he sure makes up for it getting that beast to hook up outta the corners! Dude definitely knows how to Haul some Ass--

That was an interesting watch, wider lines in places and being a human horn.

We all know it's not the fastest way round a track but it looks, smells, sounds and is bloody brilliant.

Same vintage & color as the Camaro I had....mine was just small-block power'd & nowhere near that quick though. Pretty cool seeing those smokey black stripes appear outta the corners...💪😎

Swedes and Norwegians love either high revving american V8s or highly turboed european 5 and 6 cylinders. Give them a strong turbo european 8 or 10 and they’ll go insane.

You see, they either get drunk for the winter or build an engine, I think it’s both :classic_laugh:

It’s long been an ambition of mine to go to the speed weekend at Arsunda lake in Sweden. There is another one at Orsa, or there used to be.

It’s a frozen lake and you can race what you want including this mental snowmobile built around an Argus type pulse jet. There used to be a channel on YT for the team that built this and I think they eventually got to 300kph on the thing but I can’t find it now. In early development ( I.e. beers around a bbq running the thing up) they had a noise complaint from 7km away.

I have a small collection of these ( much smaller) pulse jets, they are unbelievably noisy. I can’t run mine here, the whole village would complain.

Edit to add, should have read the thread more carefully, didn’t see @Pedro had posted the same link 😜
